About Me
I have worked in the field of psychology, providing psychotherapy for 25+ years. I have worked in many areas including child, adolescent, family, marriage, court assessments re criminal and young offender as well as custody and access assessments. I have done inpatient and outpatient assessment and therapy. I've trained in hypnosis, EMDR, and done 15 years of Jungian Theory and Practice in addition to my PhD. I am currently in my fifth year of training at the C G Jung Institute of Chicago's Jungian Analyst Training Program. I am also very interested in neurobiology and its relationship to depth psychotherapy work. I now focus primarily on work with motivated adults in individual psychotherapy sessions. Carl Jung has been and remains a very strong influence in my work. I view symptoms as meaningful and extremely valuable as they are our best means of connecting with unconscious contents. With greater consciousness we also enjoy an enhanced sense of purpose, meaning, and fulfillment in our lives.

My Approach
I provide depth psychotherapy to individual clients. Depth Psychology assumes that unconscious processes play a significant role in our lives and that there is great value in exploring this material. Symptoms are understood to be meaningful messengers of the soul and, as such, must be understood rather than merely done away with. I work with clients in a spirit of partnership oriented towards understanding the client's deeper and greater self.
